We curate and train 111 MSMEs that have global design productsJakarta (ANTARA) - State-run bank PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Tbk, along with the Ministry of Trade, Bank Indonesia, and North Sulawesi regional government, offered mentoring program to 111 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to support the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement (Gernas BBI) of Pelangi Sulawesi.
"We curate and train 111 MSMEs that have global design products. This curation process has been conducted for several MSMEs that produce products, such as fabric, processed food, and coffee," BNI Vice President Director Adi Sulistyowati stated during the event to launch the movement held virtually here on Thursday.
Sulistyowati stated that the Gernas BBI 2021 aligns with BNI's focus to support MSMEs through the Gelegar Entrepreneur series of activities.
The series of activities comprise the Entrepreneur Heroic Program, MSMEs Digital Market, BNI Thread Forum, and Espora that will facilitate Indonesia's MSMEs to advance, grow, and reach higher in pursuit of globalization and digitalization.
"Through the Espora Program, BNI is offering an integrated digital solution to help MSMEs conduct export transactions in the global market with the three main features of go productive, go digital, and go global," she elaborated.
The vice director explained that BNI will also facilitate eligible MSMEs in the areas of capital access, financial transactions, information access, accompaniment, and training to hone their capabilities and broaden market access.
Sulistyowati asserted that BNI fully supports the movement and invites all levels of society to become self-reliant and independent.
"This is the time when we laud and trust our fellow countrymen's products," she affirmed.
