Dr Ratmono pointed out that if the patient count continued to stabilize below 500, then the COVID-19 pandemic was estimated to have entered a sloping stage.
However, all parties, including the public, should continue to implement strict health protocols to curb the spread of the virus.
“Praise God, the trend has continued to decline. Hopefully, it would be stable below 500," Major General Ratmono noted in a statement received here, Monday.
According to the military doctor, who is concurrently the head of the National Defemse Forces (TNII) Health Center, the number of COVID-19 patients on Sunday had reached 493. With a total of 493 patients, the occupancy rate reaches 6.25 percent of the total occupancy capacity of 7,894 inpatient beds.
The drop in patient count was due to the number of recovered patients exceeding the number of incoming patients.

“Today, 35 patients came in for inpatient care, while 38 patients returned home," he added.
When Ratmono began serving as coordinator at RSDC Kemayoran on June 30, 2020, the number of COVID-19 patients at that time had reached 589. The number of patients continued to increase until the figure peaked at 7,167 on June 30, 2021.
"Currently, the number of patients reaches 493, which is lower than the figure at the end of June 2020 when I was appointed to serve at this emergency hospital. Hopefully, the numbers would continue to fall," he remarked.
Cumulatively, the number of patients being treated at RSDC Kemayoran has reached 100,277.
"The recovery rate is 98.23 percent," he noted.
Major Ratmono has urged all parties to always implement strict health protocols. He stressed on the importance of continued vigil by adhering to the 5M health protocols to suppress the spread of the virus.
"I have worked here for more than a year. From the data, if there is negligence in implementing health protocols, then the number of patients will increase again. The number of patients here accurately describes the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic," he added
