Jakarta (ANTARA) - The OnlinePajak application will host the MSME Digital Forum on October 12, 2021 to encourage the growth of MSME (micro, small, and medium enterprise) digitization, OnlinePajak Indonesia CEO Mulia Dewi announced on Friday.

"This event is a forum to overcome the digital challenges of MSMEs through OnlinePajak's end-to-end solutions, which are not just applications, but an integrated ecosystem," she said during an online Media Talk on Friday.

OnlinePajak has been integrated with the government, private sector, and community, Dewi pointed out. It could help MSME players connect more easily, transact, and comply with regulations properly, she said.

Through the MSME Digital Forum, OnlinePajak is committed to the success of the government's target so that the GDP (gross domestic product) contribution of MSMEs can reach 65 percent by 2024, she added.

The MSME Digital Forum reflects OnlinePajak's commitment to providing support for MSMEs, starting from the readiness of the platform to assist their daily business, providing access to financial support and tax/business consulting, as well as providing sustainable empowerment assistance so that MSMEs are better prepared to compete nationally and globally, Dewi said.

OnlinePajak is also striving to meet the needs of MSMEs through the provision of automation features for all administrative matters, she informed.

“OnlinePajak believes that MSMEs in Indonesia will grow stronger and be able to compete globally. Thus, we want to continue to support the journey of Indonesian MSMEs and empower them with all kinds of technology to make them the leading MSMEs, not only in Indonesia, but also globally," she remarked.

Separately, founder and group CEO of OnlinePajak, Charles Guinot, opined that technology can help develop MSMEs. According to him, time is of essence for MSME players to become more adaptive and agile through digital transformation. MSMEs that enter the digital market will be more likely to survive than those who continue to adopt traditional methods, he said.

"This is where OnlinePajak (plays a role), (we are here) here to provide solutions for accelerating the growth of digitalization, and we believe this can be a tremendous opportunity for MSMEs in Indonesia to go one step further by adopting technology in their daily operations," Guinot added.

He said that with the assurance of integrity in every transaction at OnlinePajak, it would be easier for MSME players to track, evaluate, project, and prevent unexpected and unnecessary transaction costs.

“The OnlinePajak application also facilitates and completes the regulatory compliance process, so that MSMEs can comply with regulations properly. This certainly ensures the continuity and sustainability of their business,” he added.

Users of the OnlinePajak application also have access to digital payments, financing, and features to ensure compliance with government regulations such as taxes and the Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS), he pointed out. The integrated features can also make it easier for users to increase transactions through the invoice feature, he added.
