"Optimize cooperation with the TNI (National Defense Forces) and police so that people do not take advantage of quarantine policy (for illegal acts), including cases of fake PCR test results must be guarded as well as possible," Maharani said in a statement issued here on Friday.
She highlighted quarantine violations by international travelers and asked the COVID-19 task force to be more alert to potential cases of people flouting quarantine processes.

She asked the task force to strictly enforce quarantine rules, including ensuring people arriving from abroad undergo PCR testing again upon arrival.
"Beware of those who try to avoid the quarantine rules. We hope that the officers will give sanctions to anyone who violates the Quarantine Law," she remarked.
According to Maharani, the government has loosened up the policy therefore she expects better compliance from the public.
The House Speaker also asked for understanding from the Indonesian people and foreign travelers regarding the five-day quarantine rules for international travelers because the policy is necessary for the sake of everyone's safety.
"We need to take note of how the athletes and officials at the XX Papua PON were disciplined in following the rules. Even though they came with the aim of striving for their region, all the contingents were ordered to undergo quarantine before and after arriving at the venue," she said.
