"I call on Forkopimda and all regional apparatus organizations to work together with all levels of society and the private sector in order to improve the implementation of health protocols and expedite vaccinations in an effort to suppress the spread of COVID-19," Amin remarked while reviewing the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination at the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School, Situbondo, East Java, Thursday.
The vice president later explained that vaccination was one of the key factors to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the entire community must play an active role in ensuring the success of the COVID-19 vaccination program.

The pick-up method was applied as part of the efforts to expedite delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine to the public. Thus, people with limited mobility or living in remote areas will have the same opportunity as the others to receive the vaccine, he emphasized.
The acceleration of COVID-19 vaccination necessitates the support of all parties. In an effort to continue to hold mass vaccinations, the provision of shuttle services to health facilities or door-to-door vaccinations are deemed necessary, Vice President Amin remarked.
Moreover, Amin explained that the provision of COVID-19 vaccines to the community is a key factor in determining the policy for implementing restrictions on community activities (PPKM).
"I am optimistic of us all working together to accelerate vaccination to achieve our goal to attain herd immunity as one of the efforts to control the COVID-19 pandemic and enter the endemic stage," Amin noted in his closing statement.
