With this, the high number of job seekers can be reduced.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Digital literacy is a solution that job seekers can resort to in order to create their own businesses, Regional Representatives Council (DPD) Speaker AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti has said.
"With enough digital literacy, I am optimistic that the millennial generation is capable of seeking out business opportunities. With this, the high number of job seekers can be reduced," he noted in an official statement here on Tuesday.
One of the focuses of human resources utilization is to absorb vocational school graduates into the business and industry workforce, Mattalitti said.

"However, due to the Society 5.0 Era paradigm shift, in addition to working in an industry or continuing study in a higher education institution, everyone is demanded to have entrepreneurial skills," he informed.
The Society 5.0 Era also allows youth to explore bigger business opportunities through the use of artificial intelligence, he said.
"The millennial generation should adapt to digital literacy so that it can wisely utilize technology," Mattalitti affirmed.

Currently, it is undeniable that technology has become one of the options for millennials to explore business opportunities, he remarked.
This utilization will provoke fierce competition in terms of choosing job types, the speaker elaborated.

The younger generation, especially those in high school, should prepare themselves for facing Era Society 5.0 by expediting digital literacy that comprises digital ethics, digital culture, digital skills, and digital safety, he said.
"This mastery is important because digital literacy is not only beneficial for opening business opportunities, it could also help streamline the flow of information required in education, both at the school and university level," he explained.
Mattalitti said he believes that digital literacy can give birth to young professionals, businessmen, and other professions, which will reduce the number of job seekers.
