"Especially for planes, cabin crew play the role to represent the task force as supervisors and controllers for passengers," Ginting added during an online dialogue, which was accessed from here on Wednesday.
He stressed that this effort must be conducted by all airlines.
Next, risk communication must also reach people who travel domestically and abroad, he added.
"They (those who travel in planes) must conduct quarantine, be vaccinated, hold a COVID-19 antigen test result, and follow the health protocols," he said.
According to Ginting, the implementation of public activity restrictions (PPKM) is proof of an instrument that can control the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, which has successfully realized a decrease in cases from July to October, 2021 to below 2 percent.

He asserted that the implementation of PPKM will be continued until the end of the year to prevent a spike in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian government has continued to urge people to remain alert for a third COVID-19 wave even though the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has categorized COVID-19 transmission in Indonesia as low.
"People, both who are in Indonesia and those who will enter the country, should always be disciplined in complying with the health protocols and all government regulations. There is no tolerance for those who break the rules," Minister of Communication and Informatics, Johnny G. Plate, said in a written statement released on Wednesday.
The first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Indonesia in March 2020. According to data from the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), as of November 3, 2021, at least 4,246,174 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country, while 4,091,101 people have recovered, and 143,481 people have succumbed to the deadly virus.
