The products that passed the curation have met the standards set by the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) and the central government.
C Lombok, NTB (ANTARA) - The Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Office of Central Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) said it has prepared foreign language assistants for MSME actors participating in the Mandalika World Superbike (WSBK) event.

"In addition to providing them booths to sell products, we will also provide foreign language assistants to MSME players," the office head, Ikhsan, said here on Monday.

The assistants will be deployed because most WSBK spectators will be from abroad, thus the assistants can help the business actors serve their customers well, he explained.

Around 50 large MSMEs booths will be prepared for the racing event, he informed.

Twenty of them will be built in the west parking area, while another 20 booths will be located in the east parking area of the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, he said.

"In addition, the rest of them will be prepared in the circuit area," Ikhsan added.

Furthermore, around 300 MSMEs products have passed the merchandise curation for WSBK out of 600 items submitted for the purpose, he said.

The selected merchandise comprise processed foods, woven cloth, and wicker craft, he added.

NTB province is known for its special wicker craft made from Lygodium circinnatum – a species of fern that is usually found in tropical forests and called 'ketak'by locals, he said.
