For now, we only recorded seven crime scenes. The victims are seven girls and three boysTanjungpinang, Riau Islands (ANTARA) - Police in Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands have arrested a 34-year-old man for molesting 10 minors in the city.
The suspect, identified by his initials as H, is a construction worker. He was arrested at MT Haryono Street Km 3, Tanjungpinang on Wednesday (December 15, 2021), Police Second Inspector Gayuh Pambudhi Utomo informed here on Thursday.
H was arrested after the parents of two children filed a report with the police, Utomo said.

"The two children became victims (of the crime) in two different locations namely in Dompak Island and in kilometer 8," he added.
During a preliminary investigation, H confessed to molesting girls and boys aged 6–14 in different places, Utomo informed.
"For now, we only recorded seven crime scenes. The victims are seven girls and three boys," he elaborated.

H told police he invited minors playing alone to take a round of the neighborhood on his motorbike and lured them with pocket money, Utomo said.
He then took the children to a quiet place and molested them, he added. He left some of his victims at the scene, without escorting them back to the place he had picked them up from, Utomo said.
The police have appealed to the parents of other victims to come forward and file a report against H with the local police.
