"We want to ensure the readiness of our operational services during Christmas and New Year. Our main concern is the safety of the operational officers and road users," Cahya noted here Monday.
He later remarked that during the Christmas and New Year period, Jasa Marga projects congestion at the Main Toll Gate (GT) for which it has taken precautionary measures to handle an increase in road volume and transaction capacity to ensure that the traffic density declines to below 0.8.
Jasa Marga also readies supporting facilities and infrastructure, such as CCTV, VMS, VMS Mobile, RTMS, and Radio Communications, to continue to monitor traffic conditions and accelerate receiving real-time information of the road.

In addition, the company has temporarily suspended construction work on the toll road during this period.
With regard to traffic engineering, Jasa Marga also continues to coordinate with stakeholders, including the Ministry of Transportation, police, and other toll road business entities.
Jasa Marga will also take special precautionary measures amid the rainy season by providing personnel and keeping heavy equipment on standby for 24 hours.
"We are also taking precautionary measures against puddles and landslides. This is especially during the rainy season in the Christmas and New Year holidays. We will take precautionary measures to avoid disturbances," Cahya remarked.
He conveyed that in order to ensure the implementation of health protocols while traveling, Jasa Marga had issued a policy to limit parking capacity to a maximum of 50 percent and limit stopover times at rest areas.
Moreover, Jasa Marga will optimize the utilization of the PeduliLindungi application at several places.
"This is part of our preparations to provide service for road users by implementing health protocols during the Christmas and New Year period," he concluded.
