We are working with the service provider PT Jasamarga Toll Road Maintenance to reconstruct the rigid pavement at the 36+222 kilometer and 24+325 kilometer points along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
Cikarang, Bekasi (ANTARA) - PT Jasa Marga is reconstructing two points along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road in West Java to offer security and comfort to users as well as to improve the minimum service standard.

“We are working with the service provider PT Jasamarga Toll Road Maintenance to reconstruct the rigid pavement at the 36+222 kilometer and 24+325 kilometer points along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road,” General Manager of the Representative Office 1 JTTRD Muhammad Taufik Akbar stated here on Saturday.

The first construction will be conducted from the 36+222 kilometer to 36+482 kilometer points of the second lane of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road heading to Cikampek, with 210 meters of total handling.

“According to schedule, the work will be done tonight from 8 p.m. local time to Friday (August 13, 2021) at 8 p.m. local time,” he revealed.

The second construction work is from the 24+325 kilometer to 24+200 kilometer points of the first lane of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road heading to Jakarta, with 125 meters of total handling, and will be conducted on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 9 a.m. local time until Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 0:00 a.m. local time.

“There will be no closure due to the work. The Jakarta-Cikampek toll road heading to Jakarta and Cikampek is still operational and passable,” Akbar clarified.

Jasa Marga confirmed to having made the requisite risk mitigation preparations, such as diverting flow for affected traffic before the reconstructed area, narrowing the work area at the first lane, and preparing a contra flow scheme in the event of traffic congestion.

The toll operator confirmed to have disseminated information pertaining to the work plan by installing warning banners and variable message signs in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to inform the users.

Jasa Marga apologized for the inconvenience caused by the work as well as suggested users to stay at home.

Akbar also urged the public to continue to adhere to health protocols and fulfill the requirements stipulated in the government’s regulation if they venture outdoors for emergency purposes as well as to stay alert and follow the signs, particularly around the work location.

“Road users can access information pertaining to the Jasa Marga Group toll road traffic via a 24-hour call center at 14080 and application Travoy 3.0 for iOS and Android users,” he noted.
