The MoU signed between Bank BJB and Pertamina Retail aims to provide banking services support.
Bandung, W Java (ANTARA) - West Java and Banten regional government-owned Bank BJB is collaborating with Pertamina Retail, a subsidiary of state-run oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero), to develop digital payment and small-scale gas station called Pertashop.

The cooperation was outlined in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi and President Director of Pertamina Retail Iin Febrian in Bandung City, West Java Province.

"The MoU signed between Bank BJB and Pertamina Retail aims to provide support through banking services," President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi noted in his press statement on Saturday.

Renaldi assessed that the cooperation will be highly profitable for Bank BJB.

The BJB president director expects the collaboration with Pertamina Retail, engaged in the refueling sector and retailing of various Pertamina products, to improve the bank's brand image.

Furthermore, Third Party Funds (TPF) can likely be deposited through increased demand and time deposits from Pertamina Retail.
