"The Attorney General instructs all AGO work units that have been designated as the audit sample to be responsive in submitting all requested information and data to the audit team," Burhanuddin directed during an audit entry meeting attended by BPK RI board member, I HendraSusanto, according to an official statement issued in Jakarta on Friday.
The audit entry meeting was convened in response to the BPK RI's letter of assignment instructing the audit board staff to perform the audit of AGO's 2021 Financial Report for 95 days and BPK RI's main auditor letter notifying the AGO of the audit, he said.
The Attorney General welcomed the BPK RI's audit, saying it was its Constitutional mandate, and assured his institution's cooperation with audit officials during the audit process.
"The audit has been organized to assess and evaluate financial information in our financial report by adhering to the principles of accounting, disclosure, legal basis, and effectiveness of the internal control system," Burhanuddin said.
