So, they are not considered events for the elites, but become democratic events for everyoneBandung (ANTARA) - Governor of West Java M Ridwan Kamil has asked residents to help make G20 a success, including by launching creative campaigns on social media.
"Let's welcome the implementation of the G20 in Indonesia. Moreover, West Java is the host of a series of G20 agendas, those being Urban 20, Think 20, and Youth 20," Kamil said in a press statement issued on Thursday.
He informed that he will launch campaigns on social media platforms, including Tik Tok, with the most creative concepts possible, so that everyone can participate in making the G20 more festive.

"So, they are not considered events for the elites, but become democratic events for everyone," he remarked.
He deemed G20 very important for people and economies globally, given the fact that the G20 nations account for 60 percent of the world's population and around 85 percent of the world's economy.
"Sixty percent of the world's population is in the G20 (countries), and 85 percent of the world's economy is managed by the G20," the governor, who is also known as Kang Emil, noted.
He then said he expected the G20 event to go smoothly.

The event would serve as means to align G20 countries' views and perceptions on facing current challenges and issues, he added.
"So, what are the benefits (of this event)? We pray that this event will be a success so that there will be conclusions (and solutions) because the (source) of all problems is miscommunication. At the G20, we gather so that at least 80 percent of the world's (axis or source) of economy does not miscommunicate (with each other)," he said.
"(It allows countries in the world to) have one perception about digital issues, health pandemics, and also renewable energy issues," he added.
