Meanwhile, 217,607 people received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, taking the total first dose coverage to 190,310,509, the task force's data showed.
Further, the number of Indonesians administered the third or booster dose reached 9,236,089, an increase of 261,132 compared to Wednesday.
The government is targeting to inoculate 208,265,720 citizens to build herd immunity against the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
On Thursday, the nation added 57,426 daily cases, 42,518 recoveries, and 317 deaths.
Meanwhile, Spokesperson for COVID-19 Vaccinations for the Ministry of Health Siti Nadia Tarmizi said that all countries need to wait for official directions from the World Health Organization (WHO) to revoke the pandemic status in their respective regions.

"The WHO has declared a global pandemic and we are part of the global community. However, we cannot as a global community declare that Indonesia is out of the pandemic," she explained during a virtual event on Thursday.
Indonesia cannot unilaterally decide on changing the status from pandemic to endemic, she said.
The nation must first monitor and study various indicators of COVID-19 handling, she added.
