The first issue that the EWG forum will deliberate on will be ensuring an inclusive labor market and decent, affirmative jobs for persons with disabilities, she informed.
"We have decided to prioritize inclusive labor market and decent jobs for persons with disabilities because of the urgency for common action (on this issue), particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic," Fauziyah said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Monday.
The second priority issue will be human capacity development for the sustainable growth of productivity, the minister said.
"Through the second issue, we will encourage and conceive joint action that involves active participation of the public and the community for enhancing human resources quality through training, particularly in the rural economy," she explained.
The minister confirmed that to deliberate the two main issues, the EWG meeting will be organized in nine online sessions that will take place from Tuesday through Thursday (March 8–10, 2022).
Besides G20 members, representatives from guest countries, engagement groups, and international organizations such as the ILO and OECD will also be invited to the EWG forum, she said.

"We hope the participation of multiple countries and international institutions in the forum would bolster the discussion on issues that have been raised by Indonesia to achieve a beneficial resolution for Indonesia and the world," Fauziyah said.
The organizer has designated 'Improving the Employment Condition to Recover Together’ as the main theme for the G20 forum on labor and manpower, the minister revealed.
"The main theme is encapsulated in the four priority issues that we will deliberate on during the EWG forum," she added.
