One of the goals is preparing the need for digital talent human resources
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Communication and Informatics Ministry cooperates with a private enterprise and a private university for a digital talent development program.

"One of the goals is preparing the need for digital talent human resources," the Ministry's Human Resources Research and Development Head, Hary Budianto, noted during the inking of a memorandum of understanding, as quoted from a statement on Tuesday.

The cooperation with the two institutions is for the Fresh Graduate Academy training, part of the Digital Talent Scholarship program. The program is aimed at university fresh graduates and final year students.

The memorandum of understanding with Multimedia Nusantara University encompasses the execution of the communication and informatics program to improve the quality of education, research, and service to the people.

This is done in the form of study and implementation of information and communication technology (ICT).

Meanwhile, for the cooperation with Oracle Indonesia, they will provide training to university lecturers to become educators on six training themes held this year.

In addition to the Fresh Graduate Academy, the ministry has invited the university to become involved in the Talent Scouting Academy (TSA) training, which is also a part of the Digital Talent Scholarship.

If the previous training is for fresh graduates, then the TSA is aimed at diploma four and bachelor degree students, with talent and interest in ICT.

"The TSA also has a micro credentials system wherein the provided materials will be converted to become semester credits. Moreover, TSA provides a global certification opportunity for chosen active students," Budiarto stated.

The ministry holds the Digital Talent Scholarship to improve the skills, competitiveness, productivity, and professionalism of ICT human resources.

The program is aimed at the young workforce, general public, and state civil apparatus.

For this year, eight trainings under the Digital Talent Scholarship are Fresh Graduate Academy, Vocational School Graduate Academy, Professional Academy, Thematic Academy, Digital Entrepreneurship Academy, Talent Scouting Academy, Government Transformation Academy, and Digital Leadership Academy.
