Before leaving, travelers should turn off and unplug all electrical equipment...Bandung (ANTARA) - State-owned electricity provider PT PLN’s (Persero’s) West Java Provincial Parent Unit has prepared 35 Eid al-Fitr Trip Posts along the exodus route in the province to assist travelers.
The general manager of the provincial parent unit, Agung Nugraha, informed here on Thursday that the posts, which will be open from D-7 to D+7 of Eid, will offer several facilities to travelers.
“At the post, we have prepared a resting place where the travelers can lay down for a while after a long journey,” he said.
In addition, praying rooms and toilets have been installed at the posts, he added.
The posts have been established at a number of locations along the Trans Java Toll Road, including Ciganea Toll Gate, Sadang Toll Gate, Subang Toll Gate, Soroja Toll Gate, as well as the Rest Area of Padaleunyi Kilometer (KM) 147.
Posts have also been set up in Sukamandi, Kandanghaur, Mundu, Pangenan, Jumat Market, Salawu, Limbangan, Cilawu, Kosambi, Cikampek. Sawangan, Cipayung, Puncak, and Gentur Monument Roundabout.
Nugraha appealed to people to check all electrical equipment in their homes before joining the exodus to prevent accidents, such as electrical short circuits.

"Before leaving, travelers should turn off and unplug all electrical equipment, install light sensors to manage the use of lights efficiently, and ensure their prepaid electricity tokens have adequate balance," he said.
Meanwhile, people using post-paid electricity services must pay their bills at the beginning of the month as the Eid al-Fitr holiday period will last until May 6, 2022.
People have also been asked to download the PLN Mobile app to better monitor their bills and payments.
