We expect that the reopening of the two routes will relieve the people's longing for our tour bus services.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta regional-owned enterprise (BUMD) PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) has reopened two tour bus routes—the Jakarta Modern (BW2) and the Jakarta Skyscrapers (BW4) routes—for the 2022 Eid al-Fitr holiday.

"To enliven the holiday, we are reopening two tour bus services to accommodate people who want to have a trip to the locations along the routes," head of the corporate communications and social responsibility department of the company, Iwan Samariansyah, said here on Tuesday.

Earlier, the operation of the two routes had been temporarily halted to support the government’s efforts to curb the transmission of COVID-19, he informed.

"Hence, currently, the public is still required to comply with the applicable health protocols when using TransJakarta services," he emphasized.

The two reopened routes will serve the public from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB) from May 3 to May 8, 2022.

The bus services will be provided free of charge. However, passengers will still need to tap in and tap out their electronic money card on the Tap on Bus (TOB) device.

The head department also appealed to people to get the latest information about TransJakarta on the corporation’s social media accounts on Twitter (@PT_Transjakarta) and Instagram (@pt_transjakarta), as well as the Tije mobile application.

"We expect that the reopening of the two routes will relieve the people's longing for our tour bus services," he added.
