Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Police is consistently working towards improving itself to achieve a modern institution, as the police commemorate the 76th Bhayangkara Day this year, Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated.

He affirmed that as the police still has much room for improvement, it will continue to better itself to be an institution that is adored by the people.

"We promise to continue to improve (ourselves), be sensitive, and be heedful of criticisms and suggestions. Despite it not being pleasant, we will evaluate (criticism) to realise the police's transformation," the police chief noted.
