Surakarta, C Java (ANTARA) - The Investment Ministry will hold a cultural carnival on Thursday to enliven the implementation of the second meeting of the Trade, Investment, and Industry Working Group (TIIWG) of the Indonesian 2022 G20 Presidency.

"It aims to build public understanding that the implementation of the G20 presidency is an honor for Indonesia," special staff for regional relations at the ministry, Tina Talisa, said here on Tuesday.

The cultural carnival will be interesting since the royal carriage of the palace of Kasunanan (Sunanate) Surakarta will be displayed during the event, she added.

There would also be a marching band performance by the Surakarta City public order security agency (Satpol-PP) and the royal soldiers of the KasunananSurakarta.

The carnival will start at the official residence of the Surakarta Mayor, called ‘Loji Gandrung,’ and proceed to Surakarta City Hall, a route spanning approximately three kilometers (km).
