May all of them have the best place with Allah…Jakarta (ANTARA) - With the return of Flight Group 43 of Solo Embarkation (SOC 43) to Indonesia, the Religious Affairs Ministry’s operational activities for 1443 Hijriah (H) or the 2022 Hajj pilgrimage have officially ended, the ministry has informed.
"There were 240 returning flight groups of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims whom we served. All praises be to God, it (the return) ran well and smoothly," secretary general of the ministry, Nizar Ali, said at the Hajj pilgrimage media center in Medina, Saudi Arabia, according to a statement quoted here on Saturday.
A total of 354 pilgrims were included in SOC 43, which was the last batch of pilgrims to return to Indonesia, he informed. They took the flight back home from Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Medina.
The pilgrims included in SOC 43 came from Tegal city, Pekalongan city, Sleman district, and Purbalingga district.

The ministry’s secretary general informed that as of Saturday, there were 11 pilgrims who were being treated in Saudi Arabia, comprising 10 pilgrims admitted to the Saudi Arabian Hospital (RSAS) and one pilgrim who was taken to the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) in Medina.
"All pilgrims who are being treated will stay under the supervision of the Indonesian Hajj (health) officials. They will be returned to the country (Indonesia) if they have met the determined medical requirements,” he said.
Furthermore, 89 pilgrims passed away in the Holy Land.

At least 27 pilgrims died between June 4 and July 7, 2022, before performing the main pilgrimage activities in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina areas (Armuzna), while 16 passed away between July 8 and 12 during the main pilgrimage activities in Armuzna.
In addition, 46 other pilgrims died after completing the main pilgrimage activities in Armuzna between July 13 and now.
Ali wished for the prosperity of pilgrims in the future. He conveyed his condolences to the families of the pilgrims who passed away during the pilgrimage.
“May all of them have the best place with Allah. Amen," he added.
