Enough, enough, you spoiled me (by showing all of the clothes).
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo (Jokowi) introduced one of the country’s traditional crafts, Badui woven clothing, to the First Lady of the Philippines, Louise Araneta–Marcos, at Bogor Presidential Palace on Monday.

Iriana showed her Philippines counterpart a number of red, grey, and green woven cloths.

"This (the weaving art) is so beautiful," Araneta–Marcos remarked.

"Enough, enough, you spoiled me (by showing all of these clothes)," she said while laughing and hugging Iriana.

Furthermore, a craftsperson from the Badui tribe—an indigenous community from Banten province —explained the process of making the cloth.

"It is a cloth made by the Badui Luar (tribe). It takes one to four months to produce it (a cloth) by using natural dyes," the craftsperson informed.

The first ladies also watched a craftswoman demonstrate the making of the fabric on a mechanical weaving machine for about 10 minutes.

After seeing the weaving process, Iriana Widodo invited Araneta-Marcos to enjoy snacks on the verandah of the palace.

The Philippines First Lady and President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. arrived on a state visit to Indonesia on Sunday (September 4, 2022).

On Monday, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, the Philippines President Marcos, and their delegations discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in several sectors and the improvement of regional cooperation in ASEAN at Bogor Presidential Palace, Bogor city, West Java province.
