More clothing stores and lodgings have also come up in the Sepaku sub-district area, which has been designated as the core area of the new capital city, he added.
According to him, improving the quality of human resources of local MSME actors is important. This would help ensure local MSME entrepreneurs are not excluded from markets in their own region.
Kuncoro said that the presence of a large number of development workers in the capital city area has triggered the growth of MSMEs and increased their incomes, for instance, food stalls have been able to earn up to around Rp5 million per month.
