Data matching was undertaken to ensure that these 1.2 million people meet the conditions for being BSU recipients, Secretary General at the ministry Anwar Sanusi stated at the Ministry's Office here Friday.
Data matching was conducted when the fourth-stage BSU data was received by the ministry on Thursday, he noted.
Originally, the data contained 1.5 million wage subsidy recipients. Around 1.2 million were determined to be clean, with no issue based on the data checking, he added.
These workers have already met requirements stipulated in Manpower Ministerial Regulation Law 10 of 2022 that included the fact that they should not be civil servants, military officers, and police officers.

One of the other requirements was that they should not receive other forms of social aid, such as the Pre-Employment Card, Micro Business Productive Aid (BPUM), and Family Hope Program (PKH).
Earlier, Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah highlighted that the BSU recipient criteria are stipulated in Manpower Ministerial Regulation No. 10 of 2022 on Government Aid Provision in the form of Wage Subsidy for Workers Guideline.
Several of these requirements include the fact that wage subsidy recipients should be Indonesian nationals proven through the ownership of Indonesian citizens' identity card numbers (NIK).
Moreover, these wage subsidy recipients should be active members of the Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) until July 2022.
In addition, they have a maximum wage of Rp3.5 million, or equivalent to the provincial, district, or city minimum wage, Fauziyah noted.
