Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has said that the Independent Teaching platform emphasizes the principle of collaboration in implementing the Independent Curriculum.

"The Independent Teaching platform is a supporting platform for teachers for implementing the Independent Curriculum to teach, learn, and work through the principle of collaboration and mutual cooperation," the ministry's acting director of early childhood education, Komalasari, said at the "Getting to Know the Independent Training Feature on the Independent Teaching Platform" webinar, which was followed online from here on Monday.

In the effort to realize the transformation of education in Indonesia, the Independent Teaching platform has become a means of independent learning and a driving force for teachers in obtaining references, inspiration, and understanding regarding the Independent Curriculum, she added.

The spirit of collaboration promoted by the platform allows all parties to enrich the content on the platform and is designed to help more than 4 million teachers in Indonesia to develop learning practices, Komalasari noted.

"Through the Independent Teaching platform, every teacher across Indonesia can have the opportunity to update several documents, and every teacher can network between regions," she added.

Earlier, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, had said that so far, as many as 1.6 million teachers have utilized the Independent Teaching platform.
