After reviewing BSU distribution at Rawamangun post office here on Wednesday, she said that the subsidy distribution this year is being carried out through two agencies: state-owned banks (Himbara banks) and state-owned postal company PT Pos Indonesia, which is providing the subsidy to workers who do not have an account with Himbara banks.
"With the distribution through these two models, through Himbara banks and post offices, hopefully, it can be distributed 100 percent by the end of 2022," the minister affirmed.
Nationally, the 2022 BSU has been distributed to a total of 10,321,436 workers, or 80.30 percent of the targeted beneficiaries. Meanwhile, the aid distributed through PT Pos Indonesia in Phase VII has reached 1.2 million workers out of the target of 3.6 million.

The disbursement of BSU through PT Pos Indonesia is being carried out in three ways. First, workers can obtain the assistance by directly visiting post offices. Second, the assistance can be distributed collectively at companies or at places determined by companies.
Third, PT Pos Indonesia's officers can deliver the aid to the homes or hospitals of recipients who are sick and cannot go to post offices.
President director of PT Pos Indonesia, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, said that the company is making maximum efforts, including providing services every day.
The government is providing wage subsidy assistance of Rp600 thousand to help eligible workers maintain their purchasing power amid an increase in the prices of goods due to a rise in fuel prices.
The targeted beneficiaries are workers who meet several requirements: they are Indonesian nationals, have been active participants in the Workers Social Security Agency's (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's) program as of July 2022, earn a maximum of Rp3.5 million per month, and are not state civil apparatus (ASN) or members of the Indonesian Military (TNI) or National Police (Polri).
