"Indonesia has succeeded in asserting its position as a non-aligned country at the G20 forum," Ngasiman, who is more familiarly known as Simon, said on Wednesday.
Simon lauded the government's performance in organizing the G20 forum to become a strategic forum for Indonesia.

He pointed to strategic issues that could potentially interfere with Indonesia's success in the G20 Presidency.
In addition to the ongoing Ukrainian-Russian war, tensions between the United States and China are increasing over the Taiwan issue.
Moreover, North Korea and South Korea, Japan, and the US are also in conflict militarily in the region.
Globally, an energy and food crisis is also looming over countries around the world.
Under the Indonesian Presidency, the G20 Summit has succeeded in conveying a message that unites countries to strive for a better future for the current and future generations.
"President Jokowi's leadership at the G20 Summit was highly appreciated by the leaders of other countries. This is progress for Indonesia," Simon remarked.
Indonesia has succeeded in securing investment commitments from several countries in dealing with the climate crisis.

The US, China, Japan, UK, and Turkey are committed to investing in Indonesia in the fields of renewable energy, transportation, education, and defence.
Simon is sanguine that after the G20 Summit, the message of peace among world leaders will continue to resonate. Synergy between countries with their respective strengths can indeed create competition.
However, Simon believes that this competition should not turn into a conflict that could harm future generations.
Meanwhile, in the country, these various investment commitments are expected to be enjoyed by the community.
"The capital towards Indonesia Gold 2045 is now getting stronger and increasing Indonesia's strategic value in the global community," Simon remarked.
