"We use the momentum to build even faster, recover stronger, and of course, we have to make sure that the people's welfare increases, MSMEs businesses are assisted, and millions of jobs are created, which are much needed by the Indonesian people after the pandemic," Minister Uno noted in Jimbaran, Bali, on Thursday.
The minister remarked that even in the midst of global uncertainty, Indonesia had made unified efforts to make the G20 event a success. The minister stated that Indonesia's G20 presidency offers hopes of supporting the economy in the future.
He also said that several state heads had commended the G20 Summit series.
"The G20 has received quite a lot of good praise from superpower countries, such as the United States and China. I heard it myself from President Jo Biden when I sent him off and also from several world leaders voicing their appreciation," Minister Uno noted.
When the US president arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on Sunday, November 13 evening, he praised the Balinese dance that was performed to welcome him.
"Incredible. So good, so beautiful," Biden stated.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida also lauded the series of the G20 Presidency.
Indonesia has hosted the G20 Summit in Nusa Dua, Bali, on November 15-16, 2022.
Apart from discussing the three priority issues, the heads of delegations were also invited to a dinner at Garuda Wisnu Kencana where Indonesian arts and culture were showcased.
