Cianjur, West Java (ANTARA) - On the 13th day of the search operation, the Search And Rescue (SAR) team found three bodies buried in an avalanche in Cijedil and Shinta's Satay Shop, Cugenang Sub-district, here, on Saturday.

Head of the Bandung SAR Office Jumaril stated that the three bodies were found at two locations: Cijedil and Shinta's Satay Shop.

"Until 12:00 p.m. local time, the joint SAR team found three bodies on the 13th day of the search," he explained.

The first body, found at around 9:30 a.m. local time, was of a woman in a black robe and veil, he noted.

The second victim -- a woman with a black shirt and trousers -- was found at around 10:30 a.m. local time, an hour after the discovery of the first.

The third victim, found at around 11:00 a.m. local time, was a woman with blonde-brunette hair and wearing a blue shirt and black pants.

With the three bodies being found, the list of missing people was down to eight, from 11 earlier, with fixed search locations in the shop area and Cijedil.

"The victims being searched for reach as many as eight people," he remarked.

Those bodies were immediately moved to the West Java Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Post at Sayang Cianjur Hospital for identification before being handed over to their families.

It was recorded that the earthquake that hit Cianjur claimed 331 lives, in addition to three people found recently, eight people still being searched, 593 people having sustained serious injuries, 59 people having undergone treatment at Cianjur Hospital, and 114,683 people residing in shelters.
