Through the collaboration, we want to disseminate (information on) the use of creative economic products for the handling of stunting.Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several public and private stakeholders to explore more tourism destinations and creative economic product development.
According to a statement received on Saturday, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno signed an agreement with Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Arifin Tasrif for the development of tourism and creative economy potentials in the new and renewable energy sector.
"The signing of the MoU aims to increase collaboration in promoting former mining areas that become geoparks and creative economy centers as (tourism) destinations,” Uno stated on the sidelines of the Gala Dinner of the 2022 Tourism and Creative Economy National Coordination Meeting.
Furthermore, he inked an MoU with Head of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) Hasto Wardoyo to synergize the family, population, and family planning program development with several tourism and creative economy programs.

"Through the collaboration, we want to disseminate (information on) the use of creative economic products for the handling of stunting," the tourism and creative economy minister remarked.
Uno, along with Secretary of the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry Ni Wayan Giri Adnyani, also signed an agreement with General Chairperson of the Indonesian Society of Appraisers (MAPPI) Muhammad Aidil Muttaqin on the valuation of intellectual property rights as financing objects.
“It is in accordance with PP (Government Regulation) Number 24 of 2022, which also regulates financing objects,” Uno stated.
The minister expects it to become a comprehensive collaboration to realize the ministry’s goal to improve the welfare of the tourism and creative economy community and create 4.4 million new jobs.
Meanwhile, the PP contains regulations for implementing Law Number 24 of 2019 concerning Creative Economy.

Furthermore, Deputy for Development of Destinations and Infrastructure at the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry Vinsensius Jemadu inked an MoU with Country Leader & President Director of PT Signify Commercial Indonesia Deddy Bagus Pramono.
The agreement covers the construction of lighting infrastructure at various tourism destinations across Indonesia.
"The provision of lighting infrastructure is prioritized for tourism villages," the tourism and creative economy minister noted.
