This book exists to provide a positive contribution in creating a comprehensive understanding through corruption risk management in preventing corruption in an organizationJakarta (ANTARA) - Main Secretary of the Government’s Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP) Ernadhi Sudarmanto stated that every organization, including in the government, should conduct corruption risk mitigation that meets differing needs.
The statement was made during the commemoration of 2022 International Anti-Corruption Day as well as the Corruption Risk Management Theory and Methodology Book discussion.
"This book exists to provide a positive contribution in creating a comprehensive understanding through corruption risk management in preventing corruption in an organization," he said in a statement, Saturday.

The book is the creation of BPKP officials, who contribute in the efforts to eradicate corruption, especially in terms of prevention.
On the occasion, Dean of Padjajaran University's Faculty of Economy and Business Nunuy Nur Afiah also gave her comments on corruption prevention.
According to Afiah, the corruption prevention mechanism begins from an organizational work culture, ethical climate creation, internal handling integration, and risk management. To this end, she lauded the work formulated by BPKP auditors.
"Fraud prevention capability is related to main characteristics and capability that an organization has in identifying the potential of fraud and taking accurate prevention steps," she stated.
"This book is very accurate to prevent corruption in an organization," she affirmed.

Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General on Intelligence Affairs’ Associate Prosecutor Eri Satriana stated that corruption occurs from upstream to downstream.
When the economic motive became the foundation to conduct corruption, graft perpetrators have already calculated the benefit that they will derive in their mind, he pointed out.
This book completely discusses prevention through risk management, he noted.
"This book is a scientific breakthrough, specifically on the role of economic knowledge in the prevention of corruption. This book contains strategic and important steps in preventing corruption in Indonesia," he stated.
