Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Moeldoko said that his administration would oversee the implementation of the pandemic fund program, vaccine technology transfer, and some other programs from the G20 Summit in November 2022.

In his statement received here on Thursday, Moeldoko affirmed that his administration would also follow up with the implementation of climate change and food crises anticipatory programs.

"The point is, the three priority issues being sustainable energy transition, digital transformation, and global health architecture can be implemented in ministerial and institutional programs. We will check and ensure periodically that the institutions are doing all of that," he remarked.

Moeldoko delivered his remarks during a follow-up meeting of the G20 Summit agreement with all ministries and institutions here on Thursday.

The pandemic fund program was a means to pool funding to address the pandemic in the event of another outbreak in future.

The 2022 G20 Summit was able to bring 226 multilateral projects worth US$238 billion and 140 bilateral projects worth US$71.4 billion.

President Joko Widodo has created a task force to follow up on various agreements made at the G20 Summit and ensure commitments on investment are conducted as planned.

"People have to know about what the government has done and is currently doing. Thus, the Presidential Staff Office will consistently inform the public about the work of ministries and agencies as an outcome of the G20 Summit," Moeldoko noted.

The Office would also oversee and evaluate as many as 52 agreement points listed in the G20 Bali Leader Declaration document. The items in the agreement, among other things, included resolution to the supply chain issues, inflation, the energy and food commodity security issues, and the increasing risk of financial stability.

"Some G20 projects' effects need to be elaborated. For example, in the health sector, people need to know what the impact of the G20 is on the health system at the public scope. Thus, people's questions regarding urgency of the G20 Summit can be answered. I tasked all deputies in the Office with overseeing this work along with related ministries," he concluded.
