Jakarta (ANTARA) - Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister Hadi Tjahjanto has expressed his ministry's commitment to developing digital-based public services for land affairs.

“The Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry is consistently pursuing its commitment to improving digital-based public services," the minister said in a written statement received here on Thursday.

He said that the ministry has launched four applications to cater to people's needs, and the applications could cut down at least 40 to 50 percent of queues or the workload of the ministry.

The minister made the remarks during a meeting with Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas here on Wednesday (February 15).

He said that his administration will refine land and spatial planning digital services, particularly at the provincial, district, and city levels, to ensure that everyone can access them.

"Once more, we express our gratitude to the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister. It is our commitment to consistently improve digital-based services," Minister Tjahjanto reiterated.

On the same occasion, Minister Anas disclosed President Joko Widodo’s directive for integrating the Land Affairs Office system with the Digital Public Services Mall.

He commended the good response from the Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister, who has committed to speed up the integration of the systems.

"So the issue on regional scope, in which Public Services Mall were in a space with National Land Agency yet they were still not connected (to each other), will be resolved immediately, so that the Digital Public Services Mall, which has become a pilot project in some areas, will have their solution," Anas said.

He also lauded the performance of the Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry's officials, which can be gauged from the growth in the ministry's Bureaucracy Reform score as well as good changes in public services.

"Hence, we give additional incentives for our fellows in the Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry," he added.
