"Quality data and information not only become planning indicators but also serve as the basis for decision-making or policy creation to resolve various issues," Head of Central Java BKKBN Widwiono noted in a statement, Monday.
The availability of data on vital registration, census, or individual and familial survey serves as one of the indicators of success in the development planning of a village.
This also aligns with the mandate of Law No. 52 of 2009 which stipulates that the government should improve the people's quality of life and achieve prosperity for the population.
In this case, Rumah DataKu is used to gather data, conduct verification, analyze, present, and utilize population as well as family data for the benefit of village development.
The use of the Rumah DataKu application is expected to facilitate managers from the regional to central level to monitor and provide intervention in the societal development program.
The website rumahdataku.bkkbn.go.id recorded that until the end of 2022, the number of those registered in Central Java for Rumah Dataku reached 1,969 spread out across 35 districts and cities.
From this figure, 1,565 are classified as simple, 57 are categorized as complete, while 347 fall in the plenary category.
Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2003 underscores the need to apply electronic-based governance to improve the quality of public services, Widwiono remarked.
To this end, several applications based on information technology, such as Rumah DataKu, are utilized for reporting purposes, he noted.
Central Java BKKBN's official, Heri Kusyanto, also highlighted that Rumah DataKu is inseparable from the system in the Family Planning Village (Kampung KB).
Thus, the program will continue to be developed as an effort to improve the quality of human resources.
