The decision was taken at the General Meeting of Shareholders of the state-owned oil company PT Pertamina which produced a written order number SK-43/MBU/03/2023 regarding the dismissal of a member of PT Pertamina's board of directors on March 8, 2023.
Pertamina Corporate Communication Vice President Fadjar Djoko Santoso noted on Wednesday that Sunardi had, as Pertamina's Business Support Director, completed his duties held since May 3, 2021, based on Decree of the SOEs Minister Number SK -142/MBU/05/202.
Santoso explained that Sunardi's position will be concurrently assigned by Pertamina's Logistics and Infrastructure Director Erry Widiastono until a definitive candidate is appointed to occupy Sunardi's position.
"The company would like to thank him for the dedication through his energy and thoughts while holding this position," Santoso stated.
Earlier, Pertamina Patra Niaga had expressed its commitment to be fully accountable for providing the best treatment for victims and families affected by the fire in Plumpang, Jakarta.
"We will take full responsibility and continue to be present at every hospital to provide the best treatment for victims and accommodate the needs of the victims' families, who are currently waiting at the hospital," Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Alfian Nasution noted in a written statement on March 6.
After the incident, the Pertamina Patra Niaga team has continued to coordinate and cooperate with Pertamedika IHC starting from referring the victims to the hospital and providing the best treatment for them to assisting the victims' families waiting at the hospital.
The victims are currently undergoing treatment at several hospitals in Jakarta: Pertamina Central Hospital, Pertamina Jaya Central Hospital, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Koja Hospital, Tugu Koja Hospital, Port Hospital, Pekerja Hospital, Firdaus Hospital, Yarsi Hospital, Mulyasari Hospital, and Kramat Jati Police Hospital.
In addition, Nasution said that Pertamina would take full responsibility and cover all the costs of treatment for patients and the victims' families that accompany them.
