Jakarta (ANTARA) - Mutual fund investment application Bibit.id has invited people to invest to achieve their financial goals and urged them to diversify their investment portfolios in mutual fund products.

“We also encourage people to invest consistently and for the long term because this method has been proven to provide optimal results and help investors achieve a better financial future,” Head of Digital Marketing at Bibit.id Angie Anandita Tjhatra said in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.

Bibit.id has collaborated with Common Grounds, a coffee shop, to remind people that investment must become a part of their daily lives.

"Just as easy as sipping coffee, investing with Bibit is so much convenient, fast, and simple. People can also sleep soundly because, as an investment application that is licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority, Bibit invites people to invest to achieve their financial goals," she said.

The collaboration entitled "Investing for Everyday People" will run from January 6 to March 31, 2023.

During this period, visitors to Common Grounds stores would be exposed to investment messages shared by Bibit while they enjoy a cup of coffee with Bibit Latte Art on top.

She said that there are various ways to interpret a cup of coffee. It can be about its taste, and the story behind it, or it can also be about how coffee has become a part of daily life for Indonesians, from big cities to remote areas.

Some say coffee is a marker of the start of the day, a catalyst for inspiration, or a companion in investing, she said.

All of these are true, and these sentiments underpin the collaboration between Bibit.id, the leading digital investment application in Indonesia, and Common Grounds, a coffee shop that has had its presence in Indonesia since 2014, she added.

Tjhatra said that people can invest in safe mutual fund instruments and the selection of products can be tailored to different users' risk profiles.

Bibit has claimed that it collaborates with the best investment managers and offers more than 100 mutual fund products, both conventional and sharia-based.

Bibit, which has been appointed as an official distribution partner for the sale of State Securities by the Ministry of Finance, also asked people to help build the country by investing in the retail series of Sharia State Securities (SBSN) SR018. The series can be purchased on Bibit from March 3–29, 2023.

At the same time, it is hoped that people will continue to enjoy the taste of coffee according to their preferences, without feeling guilty or worried that their finances or investments will be disrupted, Tjhatra said.

The story behind coffee is about investment and serious economic value, she added.

According to the Indonesian Coffee Statistics 2021 report released by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the value of Indonesia's coffee exports reached US$859 million in 2021, with the United States, Egypt, Spain, Malaysia, and Japan recorded as its top five export destinations.

This indicates the strong interest among international communities in the distinctive flavors of Indonesian coffee.

As per the same report, 99.32 percent of the total coffee produced in Indonesia comes from smallholder plantations in South Sumatra (27 percent), Lampung (15 percent), North Sumatra (10 percent), Aceh (9 percent), Bengkulu (8 percent), and 28 other provinces (31percent).

"Last but not the least, we hope this collaboration can also be a reminder for everyone to have a culture of investment awareness and always remember that investment is a part of their daily lives as well," she said.
