According to an official statement issued on Monday, the class, held in collaboration with Paberik Soeara Rakjat on March 19, 2023, was joined by 30 offline participants and 350 online participants.
The class involved several professional podcasters who introduced simple podcast video techniques.
Podcaster and digital literacy guide Rizky Adi Nugroho said that people who want to produce a podcast believe that they need to have high-class production equipment, like the podcast produced by Deddy Corbuzier.
However, podcast production can be done in a simple manner, he stressed during the opening session.
"You can already start using your own gadgets; so, you do not need to worry about what gear that you use, especially since there are already many platforms that have editing features," Nugroho said.
The next session featured Calvin Mongkol, a partnership manager with podcast content provider digital applications. He said that currently, the podcast video ratio is already very flexible.
A practice guided by technology podcaster and content creator Wisnu Kumoro was held next. He said that there are three types of podcasts: in-studio recording, remote interview, and audio footage.
"These three categories can be chosen by all of you. The most ideal podcast to be produced depends on which types that you want to do or based on your capability," he added.
He then invited participants to practice the basic production of podcast content creation by using the gadgets that they own.
This would involve proper recording methods, proper gadget placement to obtain the best audio, and introduction to applications for podcasters.
The Digital Literacy Podcast Video Class is part of digital literacy efforts initiated by the ministry for the general public.
