Utama affirmed that the 2023 ASEAN Summit is an important event to showcase Indonesia's commitment in transitioning towards clean energy. Automotive companies are considered to be an important part of the electric car ecosystem in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, President Director of Wuling Motors Shi Guoyong expressed pride on being able to support Indonesia in its important role in the international arena at the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
"This step is also our concrete manifestation to contribute to creating cleaner air in the future in accordance with our spirit stated in each Air ev unit for the 2023 ASEAN Summit, namely 'Shaping Clean Tomorrow,'" Guoyong remarked.
Wuling Motors has officially handed over the Air ev electric vehicle symbolically to the Ministry of State Secretariat. A total of 50 Air ev units will be on duty as the Official Car Partner for the 2023 ASEAN Summit that will support the mobility of the delegates.
According to Gouyong, the support in the form of 50 units of Air ev will provide emission-free and environmentally friendly mobility services to all delegates.
At the 42nd ASEAN Summit, Wuling deployed 50 units of Pristine White Air ev Long Range. All units have been decorated with a special livery for the 2023 ASEAN Summit, with a unique Labuan Bajo style.
The Wuling electric vehicle produced in Indonesia is able to travel up to 300 kilometers on one full battery charge, so it is considered suitable to meet the mobility needs of the delegates.
Wuling has also prepared a service and maintenance center for all Air ev units in Labuan Bajo. The Wuling after-sales team will be on standby to monitor and ensure the condition of the units participating in the 2023 ASEAN Summit are in prime condition.
The maintenance services provided in the Wuling Labuan Bajo Pool comprise charging facilities, thorough routine inspections by experienced technicians, and Wuling Mobile Service.
