Labuan Bajo (ANTARA) - East Nusa Tenggara's (NTT's) Tourism and Creative Economy Office Head Sony Libing said ASEAN Summit delegations will visit Labuan Bajo's tourist places: Komodo Island, Rinca Island, and sail on a pinisi boat to Batu Cermin.

"Later, they can enjoy the beauty of Labuan Bajo on the pinisi boat. Rinca Island is the closest or if they wanted to go to Padar Island or Pink Beach, then they could," Libing stated when met by ANTARA in Labuan Bajo, NTT, on Thursday.

Libing said several tourist destinations, such as Komodo Island, Manta Point, as well as Kalong Island, had been prepared for the ASEAN Summit delegations' visit.

For tourist destinations located on the land or for which crossing the island was not needed, delegates can visit the Batu Cermin Cave, Rangko Cave, Waterfront, and Puncak Waringin.

"If they want to enjoy the mountains later, they can shift for about three hours to Wae Rebo, they can enjoy an extraordinary village on a mountaintop, or the very beautiful Mules Island, white market," Libing stated.

The ASEAN Summit will be held at Meruorah Hotel and Ayana Hotel. President Joko Widodo is scheduled to travel with the delegates on a pinisi boat while enjoying coffee.

According to Libing, each country has its own itinerary. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy only provides recommendations and facilitates the visiting group.

"The Philippines (delegation) will go somewhere. (The delegation from) Cambodia will also go somewhere else. They will not be together. The wives will also go some places," Libing stated.

Libing said that the NTT Tourism and Creative Economy Office had made various preparations, starting from infrastructure, availability of drinking water, electricity, and toilets to internet networks at tourist sites.
