"The president will have a business meeting with the CEOs of big Japanese companies," Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said in a press statement in Hiroshima, Japan, according to a video received here on Sunday morning.
Minister Marsudi said that on the sidelines of his participation in the 8th session of the G7 Outreach Summit today, President Jokowi will also lay a wreath of flowers at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, located in the center of Hiroshima City, Japan.
Some monuments and museums were built to remind people of the importance of peace.
The foreign minister said that on his first day in Hiroshima, Saturday, President Jokowi had seven bilateral meetings with Japan, Britain, Brazil, Cook Islands, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and Australia.
The President also attended two sessions of the G7 Outreach Summit and attended the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII), a side event initiated by the United States.
Indonesia is one of the guest nations invited to attend the summit of the Group of Seven wealthy democracies. Other partner countries invited to the summit are South Korea, Australia, India, Brazil, Vietnam, Comoros, and the Cook Islands.
Indonesia was first invited to the G7 Outreach in 2016.
