Jakarta (ANTARA) - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo has met with the spouse of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, during her visit to Putrajaya, Malaysia, on Thursday.

According to a statement received here, the meeting between Iriana and Wan Azizah took place on the Cruise Kelah cruise ship in Putrajaya Lake.

After the welcoming ceremony at the Malaysian PM's official residence, Seri Perdana Complex, the two first ladies went to the Cruise Tasik Putrajaya dock together.

Iriana and Wan Azizah were very friendly during their encounter. They hold each other's hands, while descending to the dock at the lakeside.

While cruising over Putrajaya Lake, the two spouses warmly conversed with each other, at times looking outside at landmarks of Malaysia's administrative capital.

Concluding the cruise after almost an hour, Wan Azizah invited Iriana to continue their journey to a souvenir shop on the cruise dock.

While the spouse of Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Hermono, Sri Rejeki, accompanied Iriana during the meeting, Wan Azizah was accompanied by the spouse of Malaysian Foreign Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir, Saripah.
