"By building the synergy of potential and collaboration, it means we have built a concept of comprehensive women's empowerment and child protection development," she said in a statement here on Thursday.
At the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Development Partnership Forum in Jakarta on Wednesday (June 7), Puspayoga stressed that the government cannot work alone in implementing its policies and programs, without support from other parties.
She noted that participation of the community is needed to promote policies and programs.
"The diversity of roles and the multidisciplinary nature of various partners are important in viewing women's and children's issues, from various perspectives to provide more diverse and appropriate solutions," she said.
Puspayoga underlined that partnerships in strengthening the synergy of potential and collaboration would present various components of success and offer opportunities for the success of women's empowerment and child protection development that is more inclusive.
The ministry has forged cooperation and other commitments through forums and discussions with community institutions, as a commitment to capacity strengthening through various resources.
The Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Ministry, in a bid to accelerate the realization of five priorities in women's empowerment and child protection development, has also strengthened synergy and collaboration through partnerships in various forms.
The partnerships include cooperation to expand the target coverage and location of community institution programs with the same vision and mission and partnerships to expand the substance of programs that support women's empowerment and child protection development priorities' to achieve acceleration.
They also include the development of partnerships to carry out assistance or strengthening for regional governments to ensure women's empowerment and child protection development.
Also, the other form of partnership is synergy or strengthening of networks with community organizations to formulate policies and carry out programs that have a gender perspective and care about children's rights.
