Semarang (ANTARA) - Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Bintang Puspayoga advised Indonesian children to continue to record achievements and bring pride to the nation.

"I hope that you will continue to inspire and that you will continue to excel to become the pride of the nation and country that we love," Puspayoga stated in Semarang City, Central Java, Friday.

The minister requested that representatives from the National Children's Forum, Provincial Children's Forum, District/City Children's Forum, National Children's Forum Facilitators, and Provincial Children's Forum Facilitators take the next three days to compile "Suara Anak Indonesia" that will later be submitted to President Joko Widodo on National Children's Day, July 23, 2023.

"This opportunity (National Children's Forum) should be utilized well because we always believe that you, Indonesian children, are lights for the nation, your voices are valuable," she affirmed.

Submission of "Suara Anak Indonesia" (Indonesian Children's Voice) is a routine agenda at the commemoration of National Children's Day (HAN) that is celebrated every year.

"We always believe that your little feet will lead us all to the Indonesia we aspire to be," Puspayoga stated.

The commemoration of HAN 2023 carries the theme of "Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia," with the tagline #BeraniKarenaPeduli.

Through this theme and tagline, the Indonesian Government raises the spirit and good practices of children who speak up, as pioneers and reporters to prevent child marriage, violence, and economic exploitation of children.

In line with this theme, the celebration of the 2023 National Children's Forum (FAN) carries the theme of "Indonesian Children: Rise Up, Move Forward Simultaneously, Forever Impactful."
