Jakarta (ANTARA) - Reform steps to strengthen the Indonesian economy align with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) membership requirements, so that Indonesia does not require to prepare from basic, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati affirmed.

"Indonesia is carrying out reform in many areas that are also in accordance with the needs of a policy framework that is consistent with the OECD," the minister noted in a statement received here on Friday.

Mulyani stated that OECD Secretary-General Mathias Corman also praised President Joko Widodo as a country leader.
