"The types of trees are trembesi, mangrove, banyan, tamarind, and mahogany," Head of the Strategic Assessment Bureau of Polri, Police Brigadier General Sri Eko Pragono noted in a statement received in Laboan Bajo, Wednesday.
The Indonesian National Police Headquarters along with the Regional Police (Polda) planted trees in all regions in 34 Polda, 501 district-level police (Polres) and 5.034 sub-district police (Polsek) across the country.
Pragono affirmed that Polri is committed to preserving the environment and planting trees to maintain the life cycle, so that it can be enjoyed by the next generations.
"Later, we can breathe fresh air, no pollution, and hopefully, we can preserve it," he stated.
The 17th AMMTC in Labuan Bajo has resulted four important declarations regarding transnational crime handling in the ASEAN region, such as the Labuan Bajo Declaration on increasing law enforcement cooperation in eradicating transnational crime and declaration on strengthening cooperation in protecting witnesses and victims of transnational crimes.
