"This collaboration is a proof of concept to find out whether the technology offered suits our needs and helps the lives at IKN to become more efficient, comfortable, and practical," OIKN Head Bambang Susantono remarked.
According to Susantono here Sunday, the MoU was signed by OIKN Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation Mohammed Ali Berawi and the Kazakh company representative.
Berawi said OIKN will exhibit the technologies from partner companies at the IKN Nusantara Techno House for the public so they can experience them.
"So the public can see, utilize, and feel the offered technologies. This will be a reference on which technologies that are the most suitable to be developed and applied in Nusantara," he said.
Nusantara is Indonesia's future capital city, as stipulated and regulated by Law No. 3 of 2022.
The Nusantara development is Indonesia-centric and serves to accelerate the country's economic transformation.
Presidential Regulation No. 63 of 2022 concerning the Details of the Nusantara Capital City Master Plan states that a new transportation corridor system that is combined with roads will form an ecosystem that does not burden the environment.
One of the main principles in developing the Nusantara Capital City is an intelligent transport system (ITS) that can have a positive impact on the community, environment, and economy.
The ITS mobility strategy is expected to make Nusantara an efficient, safe, and resilient city.
The IKN development is an area of 259 thousand hectares, of which 35 percent is for the city, and the remaining 65 percent is for forest conservation.
