"We are very open to the participation of various parties from both inside and outside Indonesia," Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation of OIKN Mohammed Ali Berawi said.
According to Berawi here Sunday, the synergy with SCIC has again shown that Nusantara is a city for all as various companies, institutions and governments are very supportive of the development of this Indonesia's new capital city.
The OIKN had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on measuring happiness of urban communities with the SCIC.
Berawi said the collaboration aims to encourage and promote Nusantara as a smart and happy city.
The collaboration also offers solutions to accelerate the development of smart city through cooperation, and this is in accordance with the direction of developing Nusantara as a smart and happy city.
"OIKN has an MoU with SCIC in developing, planning and building smart city in Nusantara," Berawi said.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of SCIC Pertti Kortejärvi said the collaboration is a joint effort to integrate various technologies as solutions in Nusantara.
The collaboration would integrate solutions for many things, including energy, data transfer, smart buildings, smart areas, smart city, energy consumption, and water waste management, Kortejärvi said.
Nusantara is the future capital city of Indonesia, which is determined and regulated by Law Number 3 of 2022. Located on the east coast of Kalimantan Island, the width of Nusantara's area is recorded at
approximately 256,142 hectares of land and 68,189 hectares of sea. It is similar to almost four times that of Jakarta.
Indonesia's capital city Nusantara is aimed at accelerating the country's economic transformation.
