The visit to the lake was organized as part of the 43rd ASEAN Summit series.
"We can see a mini version of Indonesia here. This is a mini version of the map of Indonesia. Spouses, (I urge) you to travel in Indonesia and not only view this (the mini version)," she said, according to a statement received from the Presidential Secretariat here on Wednesday.
Indonesia is holding the chairmanship of the ASEAN this year with the vision of inviting ASEAN countries and its partners to contribute to resilient, adaptive, and inclusive development in the region, which benefits all communities.
While showing the miniature version of the Indonesian archipelago, the First Lady expressed the hope that the spouses of ASEAN leaders and partners will visit all Indonesian regions in the future.
She then invited the spouses to enjoy art and cultural performances at the TMII Archipelago Lake.
A number of performances were prepared for the spouses.
"I hope that (the spouses) can enjoy what will be presented," the First Lady remarked.
The cultural performances began with the theater play Si Pitung dan Aminah performed by Indonesian children.
On the occasion, Iriana also invited the spouses to play angklung, a traditional musical instrument from West Java.
This was followed by a theatrical performance relating the story of children's journey sailing to the visionary capital of Indonesia, Nusantara, on the island of Kalimantan.
The Indonesian cultural performance session ended with skydiving by women personnel from the National Defence Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri).
