Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA) - Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Admiral Yudo Margono stated on Sunday that there will be no foreign involvement in securing the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum high-level meeting in Nusa Dua, Bali, on October 11.

"Our personnel will handle security measures independently, utilizing the capabilities of our navy, air force, and army," he said after participating in the Tactical Floor Game (TGF) in Denpasar.

He expressed confidence in the ability of all parties, including the National Police (Polri) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), to implement security measures, as seen during the G20 Summit in Bali in 2022 and the ASEAN summits in Labuan Bajo and Jakarta in 2023.

During the TGF event, TNI and Polri deployed 15,581 personnel, organized into various task forces. The primary weapon systems for securing VVIPs were positioned at specific locations.

"We are mobilizing all available resources to preempt threats, both internal and external," he said.

On Sunday afternoon, the entire task force on duty attended the Tactical Floor Game led by Admiral Margono and Polri Chief Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"TFG aims to provide each task force with a clear understanding of their responsibilities, including their placement, tasks, communication protocols, and more," the admiral explained.
